Our team values spiritual and emotional growth in the people around them. It's contained in a goal to inspire, nurture and oversee the zeal and gifts of others. Our team leaders are: Rob and Aliki Flodine who have 15 years up their sleeve in conference speaking and sharing faith stories across Oz & NZ in most denominations. Their passion is seeing Australians of all backgrounds, strengthened and driven by the simple truth that God knows and loves them personally. Both teach God's word, have a heart for the broken and see church not as a building filled on Sunday's, but as a group of people living hand in hand with God Monday to Saturday.
Our youth leader is Shannon Birch, a 19 year old Tamborine local who loves BMX bikes and sharing Jesus with young people. His passion is drawing this generation towards purpose in God. Over His 8 years of BMX stunt riding, Shannon has broken 8 different bones ... including an accident that left him almost for dead during a JC Epidemic show at Broken Hill. The doctors expected a long and painful recovery with a life that wouldn’t be the same again, but prayer brought healing; Shannon walked off a plane days later. His heart is in the bible, his mind is on Jesus and his interactions are with the kids of Tamborine.
Joining Rob and Aliki for spiritual oversight are Bernie Tane and Stephen Cox. Bernie and Stephen are Tamborine locals with alot of cheek and alot of heart. These two wise men (wasn't there three?) who bring a wealth of love to the life of Liberty- Men with integrity who look to God in making decisions that are sound and yet stretched in faith. The third wise man has taken his family to Fiji to serve broken families at Homes of Hope.
